It has been very quiet here on this blog. The reason for that is not my lack of interest in System Center or the lack of interest in sharing System Center related stuff. The reason is that I mostly focus on our local System Center User Group here in Austria. Our user group is constantly growing, so the interest in System Center related content is still huge and still increasing. While we are preparing the next user group meeting in Vienna, I’m also preparing two talks with my good friend Stefan Roth for the upcoming System Center Universe event in Basel/Switzerland (August 24-26 2015):
About the System Center Universe (SCU)
Here some facts about the conference:
- 3 conference days
- more than 60 breakout sessions
- 4 parallel tracks
- many industry experts and MVPs on site
- exhibition area for partners and sponsors
- 1-to-few side meetings
- a networking and a closing party
- last but not least good food 😉
There’s still some time for an early bird conference pass. Getting a ticket before May 31 will cost CHF 659, after that a ticket will cost CHF 739. Needless to say that this is an awesome offer for a unique System Center event here in Europe.
About our Sessions
It’s still a bit sketchy but we plan to do one talk about Operations Manager (SCOM) and the ecosystem around it. A more high-level talk about management packs, 3rd party products and other useful stuff you can use to make SCOM even better. The second talk will be about the former Operational Insights – now called Operations Management Suite.
Don’t miss it!
If you are working with System Center, I strongly recommend to take this opportunity. Not only will you see a lot of great content, you can also engage with all the experts and have a great time networking and partying. As mentioned above, this is a very unique and a very high quality conference all around System Center here in the heart of Europe. See you there…
