Toolbar:

You can hide the toolbar using the View->Hide Toolbar command. The toolbar shows a subset of the available menu commands with one exception:

The textbox next to the "Add:" label helps you to quickly add a new connection to the current selected folder. The created connection's hostname and connection name is used from the quick-add textbox, all other settings are taken from the default settings.

Statusbar:

The statusbar shows the last log entry with the timestamp. For more log entries open the log window usint the View->Show Activity Log command.

Navigate Panel:

Shows all configured connections in a navigation tree. The root tree node is the document node. Select the document node and click on Edit to change the document name or encryption properties.

The document node has folder nodes which contain at least one or more connections.

Right now, there is no support for nested folders and you cannot create folders explicitly. You always need to create a new connection and choose which existing or new folder this connection should be placed in. Deleting the last connection of a folder, will also delete the folder.

Content Panel:

Dependent on the node type and node state you will see the following content in the right panel:

  • Document Node (tree root node):
Shows all connections in a list

  • Folder Node:
Shows all connections from the selected folder in a list

  • Connection - Not Connected
Shows the dashboard. From there you can see the current session information of the remote host as well as reset sessions and send messages to remote sessions.

  • Connection - Connected
Clicking on a connected session in the tree will take you to the remote desktop. To get to the dashboard while still connected you need to either select the Actions->Show Dashboard command or click on the Show Dashboard button in the toolbar.

About the connection list:

When the document or a folder is selected you'll see a list of connections. This list can be used to sort the list, bulk-editing, bulk-remove, bulk-connect/disconnect and filtering.

Use the search box to search for a textfragment in any of the shown columns. Use the filter buttons to show all, only active or only inactive items.

Select multiple items to delete or edit their properties. Bulk-editing allows you to override one or more sections. To just update your credentials for a number of connections, select them, click on Properties and check the option "Override Credentials". Provide the new credentials and click on OK.

Use the same technique to update specific display settings for some of your connections, just select the option "Override Display" instead.
