Hi Stefan cheeky

Previously, I've asked if it is possible to disable completly the switch back to the dashboard when a connection close. We've stated that sometime it can be dangerous so it was left as it is.

But I've encountered a weird behaviour with this today:

  • You log off from a slow RDP connection (i.e. long time to save session's parameters or other things done at log off),
  • Select another connection's tab,
  • As soon as the first one finish and really disconnect you are switched back to the dashboard while working on another connection crying

Would it be possible to go back to the dashboard only if the closing connection is the currently selected tab?

Hi Nicolas,

this should be the expected behavior. The dashboard should only be selected if the connection which is about to disconnect is selected. If another connection is selected, it should stay on that. Can you repro the issue?

I don't know wat happened last time, today I can't reproduce the problem ...

Maybe computer restart after this week-end helped blush

I see. I was just asking if you can repro the issue because it happened to me as well occasionally but I couldn't figure out why. My guess is, if there's much in the message queue (lots of longer running code like destroying/opening tabs), Royal TS doesn't really update the selection list quickly enough which may result in occasional wrong behavior. Like you, I'm not really able to repro the issue...
