Hello,

If I use the SSH connections, I normally use the "nano" editor under linux. If I want to save a file with "CTRL + O" Royal TS catches my Key-Shortcut and wants to open a rtsx file.

Is there any option I can set to tell RTS to redirect all Key-Shortcuts to the opened connection?

Greetings

Arsimael

Hi,

I've the same problem with function keys in midnight commander frown

Already reported that to Stefan.

As a workaround, disabling this kind of shortcuts when the terminal as the focus can be helpful !

This seems to be far more trickier than I thought. I'm trying to solve this issue with the vendor but I'm afraid the solution to that is very complicated and time consuming...

Damn sad

Does DevExp provide at least a property to enable/disable keyboard shortcuts for their controls? That can be a temporary solution ...

The latest build (10328) should now handle all input correctly. As soon as the terminal control has the keyboard focus, it will accept all keystrokes (function keys, ctrl key combinations, etc.).

cheers,
Stefan

Stefan,

Too bad sad I'll come to believe that I have no luck at all:

I still have the ribbon receiving the F10 key event frown

I've clicked in the terminal area (selecting the folder .ssh in the left pane) and pressed the F10 key and took the screenshot at this moment... As you can see the letters in the ribbon area are shown as if I've clicked on it before pressing the F10 key.

If I press the escape key right after that, the letters disappear the the focus is set on the terminal control. But if I press the enter key it open the ribbon, cursor keys move between tabs (Home/Edit/Data/...) until I press Esc to return to the terminal.

I've sent you an email with an export of the verbose log output. After enabling the verbose log, I've fired the logs view and erased all previous events then in order:

  • Click on the tab of the connection
  • Click inside the terminal area to be sure to have focus on it
  • Pressing the F10 key
  • Click on the logs tab to export the list

If you need more infos, just tell me. If you want to send me a special build with even more logging feel free to do so wink
