As in subject. Bug couldn't be submited. Like a server/network problem.

As for the bug itself the problem  was when I closed all connecitons threre was some connection in dasboard so I right clicked it and did "reset session" and then bug reporting showed up. It was because the connection was no longer active (vpn dropped) so this couldn't work. Hope that is enough. Maybe I can reproduce it when Bug Reporting works again.

Hi MadBoy,

crash report is sent by SMTP and if this doesn't work you probably do not allow port 25 communication from your PC to the internet.

However, as long as the crash report window is open, you can search for an *.saencryptedreport file in the temp directory, attach it and send it to me manually.

I'm not sure I can follow how the crash happened. The next time it happens, try to locate the file.

cheers,
Stefan

Could you change the port to 587? This is a normal user/authenthication port comparing to 25 port which should be used mostly by server to server talking. ISP's all over the world like to block whole routing on that port since SPAM uses this port and 25port on dynamic ip addresses doesn't nessecary bring anything good. I for one disabled it on my router at work so that even if users get their machines infected it's not getting spread all over the place.

I'm not sure if I can do this. Crash reporting is an external 3rd party component. Need to look into it...

Or add an option to specify a local SMTP server.

I've looked into the error reporting component and since it's executed completely outside of Royal TS it's hard to "inject" anything from the outside. However, if you create a hosts file entry for smtp.code4ward.net to one of your local smtp servers and allow relaying to the code4ward.net domain, you could use your local server.

It's easier for me to actually add an exception in my work router for my own computer then play with localhost file and create relay. Or simply I will be reporting only things from my other workplaces :)
