 Hi,

for some days now I have been experiencing a problem when connecting to a rdp host. Desktop size is set to manual at 1152x864, resize mode "None", open in external window. When I start the connection the rdp window is shown within a small window with scrollbars, although the desktop size is much smaller than my physical desktop.

When changing Resize Mode to "Smart Reconnect" the initial window is even smaller, only after moving the rdp window it will get resized to the configured desktop size.

Any ideas?

My environment: Windows Server 2008R2, Ati 3870, 2 displays 1280x1024

Hi Dirk,

I'm not able to repor the issue. Can you post a screenshot or something demonstrating the effect? What Royal TS version are you using?

Very strange. I'm not able to make it behave like yours. Does this happen on all connections? What happens if you create one connection from scratch with the same config, do you get the same?

Hi Stefan,

this happens on all connections, even on newly created ones... happens even when I create a completely new document.

Hi,

 

I just found a solution: within the Catalyst control center, the "Desktop Manager" was enabled (with it's default options). Disabling it changed the behaviour of Royal TS.

I just remembered that I have exchanged the graphics card a few weeks earlier and enabled that option...

Strange bug, though..
